Inspired by the Carte Figurative, illustrating the terrible fate of Napoleon's army as they marched to Moscow in the War of 1812, the visionmap graphically illustrates the journey toward a vision. For enterprise change, a two to three year time horizon is selected, since it generally takes this amount of time to effect major change; anything longer has proven useless. Vision communication is necessary at all levels whether articulating the strategic direction of an entire organization or performing project work.
